The Allocated Items Summary Report provides a high-level overview of picking demand within your warehouse. This report aggregates every unit of every SKU that is committed to an order but has not yet been picked, allowing managers to visualize workload before physical fulfillment begins.
Key Benefits
Efficiency in ShipHero relies on proactive inventory visibility. While pickers focus on individual orders via the mobile application, warehouse managers use this report to monitor the aggregate picking queue.
- Prevent Fulfillment Bottlenecks: Identify high-demand SKUs to ensure locations are replenished before pickers arrive.
- Balance Workload: Monitor volume across specific 3PL customers or warehouse locations.
- Prioritize Shipments: Filter by order status to focus on units that are ready for immediate fulfillment.

Allocated Items Summary Columns Explained
Change which columns are displayed by editing the column visibility. Open the Columns menu in the top right-hand corner, check the columns you want to show and uncheck the columns you want to hide.
| Column Name | Description |
| SKU/Product Name/Barcode | The specific item identifier. Select the SKU to view the product details page. |
| Inventory/Overstock Bin | Deprecated fields previously supported in Static Slotting accounts only. |
| Quantity | The total sum of units allocated across all active orders. |
| Status | The order status which SKUs are allocated to. |
| Warehouse | The warehouse the SKUs are allocated to. |
Filtering Your View
The Allocated Items Summary Report can be customized to match specific warehouse workflows using the following filters:
| Filter Name | Description/Action |
| Ready to Ship | Set this to Yes to exclude orders on hold or awaiting payment. This displays the immediate pickable workload. |
| Order Status | Filter by specific status to view SKUs allocated to orders in a particular fulfillment stage. |
| Customer (3PLs ONLY) | Filter the report by a specific 3PL Client. |
| Order Type | Toggle between Retail and Wholesale. Wholesale orders typically involve larger quantities requiring different labor allocations. |
| Warehouse | Select the specific warehouse to see allocated SKUs pertaining to that physical location. |
For 3PL providers, changing the customer selection will automatically update the warehouse list to show only the locations relevant to that specific client.

Allocated vs. Replenishment
It is important to distinguish this report from the Mobile Replenishment Report as they serve distinct operational purposes:
- Allocated Items Summary: Informs the Manager which items are waiting to be picked from bins to fulfill orders.
- Replenishment Report: Informs the Inventory teams which items must move from overstock to picking bins.
Pro -Tip: The Morning Inventory Check
Before beginning a shift, review the Allocated Items Summary filtered by Ready to Ship: Yes. Identify any SKU where the Quantity is significantly higher than the capacity of the assigned Inventory Bin. Use this data to trigger a bulk replenishment or move high-volume SKUs to a high-velocity picking location before the picking wave begins.
