Migrating to TikTok Shipping: Setup Guide

Which scenario describes you?

Select the option that matches how you currently receive TikTok orders in ShipHero to navigate to the corresponding actions:

• Scenario 1: I use the TikTok Direct connection and I'm already using TikTok Shipping
  → ✅ No action needed 
• Scenario 2: I use the TikTok Direct connection and I'm currently using Seller Shipping
  → ⚠️ Action required
• Scenario 3: I receive TikTok orders through Shopify (via the official TikTok app)
  → ⚠️ Action required

Scenario 1: TikTok Direct + Already Using TikTok Shipping

✅ No action required

Scenario 2: TikTok Direct + Currently Using Seller Shipping

⚠️ Action required-Migration Steps

1. Verify your TikTok Shop was added as a carrier
2. Switch to TikTok Shipping in TikTok Seller Center
3. Create or Modify Automation Rules
4. Test

Step 1: Verify your TikTok Shop was added as a carrier

Go to My Account > Carriers to check the connected carriers list. Expand the TikTok line to confirm TikTok is connected to the proper store name, profile and warehouse. If you don't see TikTok connected as a carrier, please follow the steps below to Add TikTok as a Carrier in ShipHero. Once finished move on to Step 2.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR 3PLs: Because TikTok carrier connections are specific to the store, they must be set up at the client level. To use carriers connected at the client level you must enable the Use Customer's Shipping Accounts setting on the 3PL page.

Before enabling this setting, connect any other carriers you plan to use for that client's orders at the client account level to ensure your team can continue processing orders without disruption.

Step 2: Switch to TikTok Shipping in TikTok Seller Center

1. Log in to TikTok Seller Center.
2. Go to Settings > Shipping Settings.
3. Change from Seller Shipping to TikTok Shipping.
4. Click Save.

Step 3: Create or modify your Automation Rules

Use automation rules to ensure your orders' shipping methods are set up accordingly. As a reminder, automation rules run top to bottom; because of the sensitive nature of this change, we recommend dragging your TikTok rules to the bottom of your automation rules list so other mapping rules do not override it.

1. Go to the Orders > Automation Rules page.
2. Click Create New Rule / or Edit existing rules by clicking on the rules name.
3. Configure:
   • Condition: Order is from TikTok (via tag or source identifier)
   • Action: Set carrier to TikTok
4. Click Save.

Step 4: Test

1. Create an order in TikTok Shop.
2. Verify it imports into ShipHero and the carrier is mapped according to your automation rules. 
3. Generate a shipping label.
4. Confirm the label is from TikTok Shipping.

Scenario 3: Shopify + Official TikTok App

1. Add TikTok as a Carrier in ShipHero
2. Create or Modify Automation Rules
3. Switch to TikTok Shipping in TikTok Seller Center
4. Test

Prerequisites

• You must be using the official TikTok Shopify app (third-party apps are not supported)

Step 1: Add TikTok as a Carrier in ShipHero

Connecting TikTok as a crrier has two parts the first is initiating the connection in ShipHero and then you will be redirected to the TikTok store to install ShipHero as an app which allows the generate label request to be sent to your TikTok store.

1. Go to the My Account > Carriers page.

2. Click Connect Carrier and select TikTok.

   

3. Select the Profile, Warehouse and Region you are adding the connection to.
4. Click Connect.

This will take you to the TikTok Seller Center page, login. Login and follow the remaining steps outlined below. 

1. When prompted, include your email and click Confirm to install.
2. Click Confirm Install and complete TikTok's app install process and authorizations.  
3. You'll automatically return to ShipHero with TikTok added as a carrier.

Step 2: Create or modify your Automation Rules
