When in the ShipHero web dashboard, click on My Account and then click on Settings, then Customer Returns. On the right-hand side, select Manage Which Shipping Methods are Allowed for Returns.
A new page called Return Shipping Methods will open. Go to the upper right-hand corner and click Add a Shipping Method.
Note: if you would like to use a flat rate mailer (for example USPS Flat Rate Padded Envelope) as your return packaging please reach out to support@shiphero.com and we can help set that for you.
A new box will appear where you can select which method you would like to use for return shipping.
If you want the customer to be responsible for the shipping costs, simply select the Generic carrier and click Save. This will provide a label for the customer to print out with the ship-to address and will include their shipping address as the return location. This will ensure that the package is returned to the correct location.
If you choose to charge the customer for the return label shipping cost, you can add a flat fee to each order that is returned:
