The advantages of the FBA Restock feature will vary depending on how you use ShipHero.
Merchants Fulfilling Themselves
Your main advantage is being able to use the ShipHero apps to pick, pack, and ship your FBA inbound shipments. You are able to use the mobile app to pick the products, and quote and print the Amazon partnered carrier labels using your packing app.
Merchants Fulfilling Through 3PLs
3PLs will normally do a better job than your supplier in handling your FBA inbound shipments. Since you, as a merchant, operate Seller Central, having your 3PL ship your inbound shipment without ShipHero involves a lot of coordination with them, including, more often than not, emailing them the labels.
With ShipHero, you just choose which inbound shipments you want to create an order for, and the 3PL is able to manage cartons, weighing, label printing, and everything you shouldn’t need to worry about.
