Sometimes, a Child account of a 3PL will fulfill orders in Shopify instead of in ShipHero, but use the same 3PL warehouse to fulfill the order. If the "Remove stock in ShipHero for fulfillments created in Shopify and not ShipHero.” is enabled, ShipHero will remove the “on hand” qty but not the inventory from the Bin. This will then cause an inventory discrepancy because the Bin still shows more qty than what is at the warehouse.

What should we do?

The 3PL must create a support ticket to have support enable a default Bin of the 3PL’s choosing. The 3PL can use a bin already created or create a new one.

Once a default Bin has been picked, ensure that the store setting is enabled on the child account:
Once this has been completed, the inventory deduction for orders fulfilled in Shopify and not ShipHero will remove qty from the "Default bin".
