Beginning on June 3, 2024, all UPS API transactions will require OAuth 2.0 compliance. Below are the steps to update your UPS Carrier Connection if you are using the New Carrier Connections page or the Legacy Carrier Connections page.
For Users with the New Carrier Connections Page
For Users with the Legacy Carrier Connections Page
FIRST STEP
Before you begin, please log out of any sessions for any of your UPS accounts. You can accomplish this by signing out at UPS.com directly. If you have multiple accounts with different usernames and passwords this is a crucial first step to make sure that the upgrade takes effect.
For Users with the New Carrier Connections Page
Please follow the below steps to update your UPS Carrier Connection.
Log into ShipHero and go to Shipping > Carriers.
Click on Carriers. It will open your Carriers page.
Find UPS in your list of connected carriers.
At the end of the row, you will see a red hyperlink icon, a pencil icon. Click on the Pencil icon to edit.
In the new edit window, you will see the Upgrade Connection button in the lower lefthand corner.
Click on the Upgrade Connection button.
You will be redirected to UPS.com and prompted to input your UPS email and/or username.
- Agree to the UPS Technology agreement which will authorize ShipHero to access your UPS shipping account.
- Click Continue. Enter your UPS.com password to complete log in.
- Once you have logged in, you should be redirected back to the ShipHero Shipping Carriers page and the Upgrade Connection button should no longer be visible.
This confirms that your update is complete.
NOTE: If you have multiple UPS Connections, you will need to repeat these steps for each connection.
For Users with the Legacy Carrier Connections Page
Please follow the below steps to update your UPS Carrier Connection.
Log into ShipHero and click here to go to your Carriers page: UPS Carrier Connection.
Find UPS in your list of Connected Carriers and click on the "Upgrade Connection" button.
You'll see this window with instructions. Click Upgrade.
You will be redirected to UPS.com and prompted to input your UPS email and/or username.
- Agree to the UPS Technology agreement which will authorize ShipHero to access your UPS shipping account.
- Click Continue. Enter your UPS.com password to complete log in.
- Once you have logged in, you should be redirected back to the ShipHero Shipping Carriers page and the Upgrade Connection button should no longer be visible.
This confirms that your update is complete.
