With the launch of the 3PL Client Portal, a new path to invite your clients has been implemented to provide them with a more personalized onboarding experience. If you have multiple warehouses it also allows you to define which warehouses you want your client to join.
Steps to Invite a New Client to Join
1. Log into app.shiphero.com with your admin account.
2. Click on 3PL on the top menu.
3. At the top of the screen, in the 3PL Customers section, you will see the Invite a New Customer form.
4. Select the warehouses you want to allow the customer to work with.
5. Type the customer’s company name.
6. Type the customer’s designated admin user’s email (provided by the customer).
7. Click on Send Invite.
8. A confirmation screen pops up to confirm the email was sent. Click OK to dismiss.
What Happens After I Send the Invite?
An email will be sent to the person you indicated when filling out the form. The email will contain an invite code that will allow them to join the portal.
NOTE: This code does expire within 48 hours, so if they do not click on it within that timeframe, they may need to request another invite from you.
When they click on Go to Fulfillment Portal button, they will be taken to the Registration Screen where the invite code will be validated.
They should fill out the registration form and click Sign Up.
They will see a message indicating that an email has been sent to them to activate their account.
Upon receipt of this email, the customer can activate their account by clicking on Confirm Account.
This will send them to the login page for the 3PL Client Portal. They should now be able to login and use the portal.
