ShipHero's default currency for your account is set to "United States Dollar" (USD).
However, you have the option to update the currency at both the account level and through automation rules.
NOTE: ShipHero does not automatically calculate currency differences. Instead, the system updates the currency symbol. We rely on your store platform's number to determine the proper currency.
For example:
If your store sells products in USD, but your ShipHero currency is set to CAD, we will not recalculate USD to CAD. To ensure accurate tracking of your finances, it's essential to match the ShipHero setting with the currency used on your store platform.
Here's another scenario:
If you use a store from both the US and NZ, we'll have to set up an automation rule to ensure the currency is mapped correctly.
How to Set Your Currency Type in ShipHero
Log into ShipHero and navigate to My Account > Settings.
On the settings page, look in the column on the right hand side under General Preferences and scroll down to Currency. You can choose the appropriate currency from the dropdown menu.
How to Set Currency Type Via Automation Rules
