This feature is currently in BETA and must be enabled by our support team for your account. Please clarify which version you want enabled when submitting your request as there is now an option to force a location scan when picking an item.
The new Multi-Item Batch (MIB) and Single-Item Batch (SIB) picking interface is designed to make picking more intuitive while keeping the workflow consistent with our previous version. This guide provides an overview of the main differences between the two user interfaces and walks you through the updated flow for multi-item batch picking and single-item picking.

- UI is modernized: Cleaner screens, better summaries, easier corrections.
- Functional controls: Location scanning and issue reporting are built into the flow.
- Future-ready: For mapped warehouses, the new AI map view will guide pickers to the fastest route.
Multi-Item Batch (MIB) Picking - Without Location Scans

Multi-Item Batch (MIB) Picking – With Location Scans
This version of Multi-Item Batch (MIB) Picking adds an extra step: scanning the pick location before picking items. This ensures accuracy and prevents mistakes by verifying that the item is being picked from the correct bin.
Key Differences from Standard MIB Picking
- Location scan is required first before picking each item.
- Prevents picking from the wrong bin.
- Adds an extra layer of inventory accuracy for high-compliance operations.
Step-by-Step Picking Process
- Scan Pick Location
- The system prompts you to scan the bin/location where the item is stored.
- Once scanned, a confirmation screen will appear: “Location scanned”.
- If the wrong location is scanned, you will be prompted to try again.
- Pick the Item(s)
- Scan or select the item to pick.
- The system shows the number of units required and which totes they belong to.
- Place Items into Totes
- Scan the tote(s) or select them on screen.
- Place the picked units into the correct tote(s).
- Options available:
- Reset counts (if a mistake is made)
- Enter quantity manually
- Split placement (place some items now, remaining later)
- Repeat for Each Location
- Move to the next location.
- Scan the bin/location first.
- Then continue with the picking loop.
- Review & Complete
- Open the Picking Summary to see:
- Orders completed
- Units picked
- Tote assignments (including hospital totes for damaged items)
- Confirm and complete the batch.
- Open the Picking Summary to see:
Single-Item Batch (SIB) Picking
Single-item picking follows a similar flow but with some simplified steps. Because SIB only requires a single tote to pick many orders, rescanning the tote is not required as you pick each unit of the same SKU.
- Select or Scan Tote
- Begin by scanning or selecting a tote.
- Scan Item
- Scan the item to confirm.
- The system will indicate the tote where the item belongs.
- Pick & Place
- Place the item into the tote.
- Options include:
- Reset count
- Enter quantity manually
- Place directly into tote
Reporting an Issue in SIB
In SIB, you can report an issue with a SKU by clicking the “Report Issue” button. However, if you already partially picked an SKU you must do one of the two options below:
- Select the "Put in tote" button to move the quantity already picked to the tote. Then, select the "Report issue" button for the remaining amount.
- Select "Reset count" and then you can report an issue for the full qty.
