The Inventory Change Log provides a detailed history of changes made to inventory levels within a warehouse. This report helps you track adjustments, assemblies, returns, and other inventory movements with full visibility into who made the change, when, and why.
To access this report navigate to the Reports > Inventory Change Log page.
Common Use Cases
- Review adjustments to reconcile discrepancies in counts.
- Audit inventory changes for compliance.
- Track assemblies or work orders that modify on-hand quantities.
- Investigate issues such as unexpected shrinkage or mis-picks.
Available Filters
You can refine the data shown in the report using the filters at the top:
| Filter Type | Definition |
| Search bar | Use the search bar to find specific information from any of these fields; Product Name, SKU, Warehouse, Changed By, Lot Name, Location, and Reason. |
| Date Range | Select the period of time you want to review inventory changes. |
| Warehouse | Filter by warehouse where the change occurred. |
| Changed by | Filter by the user who performed the change. |
Columns Defined
Each row in the report represents a logged inventory change. You can change which columns are displayed by editing the column visibility. Open the Columns menu in the top right-hand corner, check the columns you want to show and uncheck the columns you want to hide.
The available columns on the Inventory Change Log include:

| Date | When the change occurred |
| Warehouse | The warehouse where the change happened. |
| SKU | The product SKU (clickable link to product details). |
| Name | The product name. |
| Location | The bin or slot in the warehouse where the inventory was changed. |
| Previous on hand | The on hand quantity before the change. |
| Updated on hand | The new on hand quantity after the change. |
| Reason | Why the change was made (e.g., order, assembly, manual adjustment). |
| Changed by | The user who made the change. |
| Lot name | The lot associated with the inventory (if applicable). |
| Lot expiration | The expiration date for lot-tracked items. |
Exporting the Report
Need to provide a customer with the report or use the data externally? Export the report by selecting the Export button on the top right corner. There are two options:
- All rows to CSV: Exports the entire report and sends the file to the user's email address.
- Visible Rows to CSV: Only the data currently displayed after filters are applied is downloaded.
