Inventory Planner connects with ShipHero so you can review replenishment suggestions and create purchase orders (POs). Purchase orders created in Inventory Planner upload to ShipHero automatically.
Before You Begin
- Required user role: Only account admins can open My Account > Developer Users and add a third-party developer. You need this access to generate GraphQL API tokens.
Note for 3PLs: To connect Inventory Planner to a client account, connect it directly to that client account.
Connect Inventory Planner to ShipHero
Connecting Inventory Planner to ShipHero takes two steps in the Connection section of Inventory Planner.
- Go to Inventory Planner and select ShipHero from the Connection section.
- Enter a ShipHero user email address and password.

Need new GraphQL API tokens for Inventory Planner? Go to My Account > Developer Users in ShipHero and select Add Third-Party Developer. Only account admins can access this page. Then follow How to Obtain API Access and Refresh Tokens to finish creating the developer user and get the tokens.

Inactive Warehouses Appear in Inventory Planner
ShipHero's API returns every warehouse on your account to Inventory Planner, including inactive warehouses. ShipHero has no setting that excludes inactive warehouses from Inventory Planner. Each warehouse includes an active status that Inventory Planner can use to filter them out. To exclude inactive warehouses, contact Inventory Planner at contact@inventory-planner.com.
