This guide explains how to perform inventory transfers using the ShipHero Mobile application. It covers methods for transferring loose items and LPN-based containers within a single warehouse.

Transfers Using Transfer Entire Location
The Transfer Entire Location option is used for two primary scenarios:
- Moving all contents (loose items and LPNs) from one location to another.
- Moving a specific LPN from its current location to a new one.
Step-by-Step
- Open the main menu on the mobile app and tap Inventory.
- Select Transfer entire location.
- Scan or search the source location in the From field. *If moving a specific LPN, scan the LPN barcode instead of the warehouse location.
- Scan or select the destination location in the To field.
- Tap Confirm in the top right corner.
Results
Scenario 1: All inventory is reassigned to the new location. The source location is now empty.
Scenario 2: The specific LPN is moved to the new location.

Transfers Using Search by Location
The Search by Location option displays all loose items and LPNs assigned to a specific area. This is ideal for rearranging picking zones or clearing shelf space.
From the Location page on the mobile you can:
- Transfer loose item inventory to a new location.
- Transfer an entire LPN to a new location.
Scenario 1: Transfer Loose Items
- Open the main menu, tap Inventory, and select Search by Location.
- Scan or select the source location.
- Tap the Loose Item (SKU) you want to move.
- Tap the pencil icon in the To Move field and enter the quantity.
- Tap Move.
- Scan or select the Destination Location.
- Tap Confirm.
Pro Tip: You can move multiple SKUs at once. Edit the quantities for each SKU before tapping the Move button.

Scenario 2: Transfer an LPN
- From the main menu, tap Inventory and select Search by Location.
- Scan or select the source location.
- Locate the LPN and tap Transfer Entire LPN.
- Scan or select the new destination location.
- Tap Confirm.

Transfers Using the Product Page
Navigating directly to a SKU product page allows you to move specific quantities of that SKU into new locations or containers.
Step-by-Step
- From the main menu, tap Inventory and select Search Items.
- Scan or type the SKU to open the Edit Product screen.
- Tap Edit Inventory next to the On Hand count.
- Tap Location Transfer at the bottom right.
- Scan or select the source location/LPN in the From field.
- Scan or select the destination location/LPN in the To field.
- Enter the Quantity to transfer and tap Confirm.
