This article will walk you through the steps to transfer inventory inside a ShipHero facility using the ShipHero Mobile app. The article will break down transferring by SKU or transferring by location.

Transfer Inventory by SKU
Open the ShipHero Mobile App, and navigate to Inventory in the lefthand menu.
Select Search Items from the submenu.
Scan the product barcode of the item you want to transfer, and tap on the SKU to bring up the SKU's product page in the app.
Click Edit Inventory next to the On Hand amount.
Select Location Transfer at the bottom of the screen.
Using your mobile scanner, scan the origin location barcode.
Using the mobile scanner, scan the destination location barcode.
Using the mobile scanner, scan each unit barcode of the inventory to be transferred, and place the physical SKU in the new destination location bin/pallet.
When you have finished scanning each item and you have nothing left to transfer, select Confirm to save and complete the transfer.
NOTE: You can enter the total amount of inventory you want to transfer, instead of scanning each item's barcode. However, we do not recommend this as it can lead to inventory discrepancies. We recommend scanning each item to be transferred as best practice.
Transfer Inventory by Location
Open the ShipHero Mobile App, and navigate to Inventory in the lefthand menu.
Select Transfer Entire Location from the submenu.
Using the mobile scanner, scan the origin location barcode.
Using the mobile scanner, scan the destination location barcode.
When you have chosen both your origin and destination locations, select Confirm to save and complete the transfer.
