Inventory Transfer Workflow (Mobile App)
To resolve loading issues, transfer inventory from unpickable storage to pickable bins using these steps:
- Open the ShipHero Mobile App and select Inventory from the main menu.
- Locate the product by scanning the barcode or searching by SKU/Name.
- Select Edit Inventory.
- Choose Location Transfer.
- Select the From Location (Unpickable) and the To Location (Pickable).
- Confirm the transfer.
Bulk Inventory Management
If a large number of SKUs require relocation, use the bulk update feature on the web dashboard:
- Navigate to app.shiphero.com.
- Download and utilize the Inventory Upload template for mass location changes.
ShipHero's batching algorithm prioritizes items in pickable locations. If inventory is only available in unpickable bins, the system may struggle to generate a valid pick path, causing the mobile app to hang.
