FedEx One Rate is a flat-rate shipping service for domestic shipments that makes pricing easy and predictable. With ShipHero's direct integration, you can easily enable this service to automatically find the best rate and streamline your shipping process.
It’s great for online businesses because the cost is fixed and doesn't depend on the package's weight or how far it's traveling. Instead, the price is determined by the box size and how fast you want it to arrive. This article will cover what FedEx One Rate is, how to set it up in ShipHero, and its key limitations.
How does FedEx One Rate work?
FedEx One Rate gives you a single, all-inclusive price. This means it already covers surcharges like residential, delivery area, and fuel fees.
FedEx One Rate is a domestic-only shipping service and is only applicable to the following shipping methods:
- Overnight (First, Priority, and Standard)
- 2 Day (including AM)
- Express Saver
To get this rate, you must use one of the specific FedEx-branded boxes listed in the table below.
