This article explains the procedures and time limits for voiding UPS outbound shipping labels and inbound return labels within ShipHero.
UPS Void Windows
Each label type has a specific timeframe during which it can be voided directly through the ShipHero platform. Once these windows have passed, you must contact UPS directly.

If the void window has passed, ShipHero can no longer cancel the label. You must contact your local UPS customer service office for manual assistance.
Voiding Outbound Shipping Labels
To void a standard shipping label that will not be used, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Order Details page for the specific shipment.
- Locate the Shipments section.
- Select the option to Void Label.
This action must be performed within 90 days of the label creation date.
Voiding Inbound Return Labels
To void a return label provided to a customer, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Returns page in ShipHero.
- Find the specific return shipment associated with the label.
- Select Void.
This action must be performed within 24 hours of generating the return label. UPS policy strictly limits the digital voiding of return service labels after this 24-hour period.
