How to Configure Wholesale Order Default Settings

Managing wholesale workflows requires consistency across your warehouse operations. Configuring your default Wholesale Settings ensures that every wholesale order follows a standardized operating procedure without having to manually update each individual order.

Important Note

These settings only apply to standard wholesale workflows and do not affect SPS or API-integrated orders.

Requirements to Access Wholesale Setting Page

  • Supported Account Types: 3PL and Brand Accounts ONLY; the Wholesale Settings page is not available for 3PL client accounts.

  • User Permissions: Users must have Wholesale:Manager: View and Edit permissions enabled on their assigned role to access and change wholesale settings.

How to Configure Wholesale Settings

To configure your wholesale defaults, follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to the Settings > Wholesale Settings page.
  2. Define Order Preferences:
    • Default Order Type: Choose to Freight (Default) or Courier.
    • Select Picking Flow: Choose between Manual (Desktop) or Mobile.
  3. Configure Mobile Flow: If Mobile is selected, choose Picking & Packing (Default) or Picking only.

  4. Set Packing Instructions: Toggle the visibility of the Packing Instructions modal to show or hide it during packing operations.

  5. Configure Scanning Requirements: Set Mobile Scanning to Mandatory or Optional (Default).

    Scanning Setting Operational Impact
    Mandatory Disables manual entry, "Pick all units," and "Pick all required" buttons. Users must scan each SKU.
    Optional Enables manual entry and "Pick all" buttons for faster, non-enforced picking.
