How to Enable the PIN Code Screen for the Packing App

The ShipHero Packing App now provides a PIN code feature. When enabled, a PIN login screen will display after the specified Idle timeout period and allows you to change between users using their PIN instead of having to remember their username and password each time.

The system automatically generates a PIN code for each new user. This PIN code is the same PIN they will use for the ShipHero Mobile App.

IMPORTANT

A user must login with their username and password when first running the app. Then the PIN screen can then be used to switch between users.

How to Enable Pin Code

  1. Go to the My Account > Settings > App Settings page and scroll to the Packing App Login section.
  2. Select the Enable Pin Based Login checkbox to enable the feature, 
  3. Enter the number of minutes for the Idle timeout.
  4. Click Save/Update.
