When viewing the order page, you may ask what the difference is between a Locked Warehouse and an Allocated Warehouse. These columns appear on the order details page when you have multiple warehouses but do not use Multi-Warehouse Allocation.
Locked Warehouse Vs Allocated Warehouse
- The Locked Warehouse option is visible on accounts or client accounts with Multi Warehouse Allocation disabled. A Locked Warehouse refers to the warehouse where the order should be allocated. If a pending order needs to be reallocated to a different warehouse, you can manually select a different warehouse from the Locked Warehouse drop-down to reassign it.
- An Allocated Warehouse refers to the warehouse where the order is allocated. Accounts with Multi Warehouse Allocation enabled will only see this column within the order details, and manually selecting a different warehouse is unavailable since MWA rules determine the allocated warehouse.
