This feature allows pickers to mark an inventory location as Hospital. Marking the location as a hospital will make the location nonpickable, which will prevent pickers from being directed to location until the issue is resolved and cleared. In this article, we will walk through the steps of using the Hospital feature on the ShipHero Mobile App.

Most Common Use Cases for Hospital Feature
The most common use for using the Hospital feature occurs when a picker is sent to a location and they can’t pick the item. This is normally because the inventory in the system is incorrect and there’s not enough in that location to pick to complete the order.
Why Mark a Location As Hospital
By indicating via the ShipHero mobile app that a location has been "sent" to the Hospital, it will allow your inventory team members to quickly see there is an issue that needs resolution for orders to be picked and shipped on time.
Once the Hospital flag has been enabled, the Inventory team can investigate, solve the problem and then clear the flag to mark the area pickable again.
NOTE: In order for any member of your warehouse team to be able to mark an item as Hospital, the user must have Bins Edit Permission enabled.
