How to Use the 'Auto Pack' Product Setting

Want to save some time? Enable the auto pack feature on custom packaging will help save you time.

The demo above shows an order with the Tote QA option "on." You'll be able to learn more about Tote QA.

Note: When Tote QA is not enabled then this feature will not do anything. All items will automatically packed and be shown on the right-hand side of the screen.

In most cases, custom packaging, such as inserts and custom boxes, will not have a barcode to scan during the packing process. The packer would need to click on the product on the right-hand side to put it in the packing screen on the left-hand side of the screen. Enable the Auto pack feature in the following way:

1. Go to the product page for the custom packaging and click on the pencil icon to edit the product.

2. Scroll down on the editing screen and select the Auto Pack feature.

Now that the Auto Pack feature has been enabled, the product will automatically be moved to the left-hand side of the screen.
