SPS Onboarding (6-8 weeks)

Engage Retailers
SPS will engage with the customer’s Retailers (aka Trading Partners), to configure the EDI connections and get sample files.- Ex. Trading Partners: Walmart, CVS, Target, etc…

Configure Account Transaction Folder
SPS will create an FTP folder structure (a.k.a The Transaction Folder or TAPI folder) based on the customer account type.- Brand Account Structure:

SPS oAuth Connection to ShipHero
The customer connects their SPS store to ShipHero following this article: Connecting to SPS Commerce. - Once it is connected, we check the Authentication and the access to the TAPI folders.
NOTE: Dropship retailers usually take 2 weeks to fully onboard. Wholesale retailers require more configuration and take around 3-4 weeks to fully onboard.
Initial Testing Procedures
Import Orders/ First Test File
SPS sends the First Test File. We map the SKUs and/or Barcodes in the document to products in ShipHero.
Set Order Import Rules
After we confirm the products from the file match the products in ShipHero, we set the Order Import Rules that allow us to create the orders in our app.
B2C/Dropship Orders
Orders are fulfilled with ShipHero standard flow. We send the ASN generated at the time of the fulfillment to the TAPI folder in SPS. If no updates are needed, the retailer will go live!
B2B/Wholesale Orders
Orders are fulfilled via the Wholesale flow. For this type of order, we will request a GS1 label and other shipping documents.
Once fulfilled, we send the ASN generated at the time of the fulfillment to the TAPI folder in SPS. If no updates are needed, the retailer will go live!
