If you see the error "The Mailer ID is required on SurePost shipments" when generating a UPS SurePost label, the feature has not been fully activated on your UPS account.
This is a carrier-side configuration issue. ShipHero cannot bypass this requirement until your UPS account is authorized to transmit Mailer ID data.
Resolution Steps
- Identify the UPS account number receiving the error.
- Contact your UPS Account Representative or UPS technical support.
- Request that SurePost be activated for your account and that your Mailer ID be linked to your API credentials.
- Once UPS confirms activation, try generating the label again in ShipHero.
