With our intuitive and streamlined packing flow, the ShipHero web app makes packing Single Item Batch (SIB) orders easy.
To start, go to shipping.shiphero.com and select Shipping > Single items batches in the navigation menu.
This will open the listing screen where you’ll see batches that are ready to ship. The page displays the tote number, a preview of the items, the number of orders, and the total units in each batch:
Click on one of the batches or scan the tote barcode to start packing. This will open the packing page. The left side of the page shows a summary of items in the tote:
To start packing an item, either click on one of the items or scan an item from the tote (recommended).
This will open a details section listing all the related orders. The first order on the list will be automatically selected.
If a product or order has packer notes, these will be displayed for easy reference.
The order list section is grouped by the quantity needed for each order. This allows you to easily identify which orders require different quantities.
The section on the right side of the page acts just like the regular single order shipping interface. Simply set the box, specify the weight, and click the print button (or use a command barcode) to ship the order.
Once the label is generated, you'll see the label cost and tracking details above the shipping address:
If needed, the label can be voided or reprinted by clicking on the menu button on the right side of that section.
If an error occurs, a message will be displayed there as well.
When you click the Complete button, the current order will be removed and the next order automatically selected.
Bulkship Mode
To ship multiple orders at once, use Bulkship Mode. To enable it, activate the Bulkship toggle in the orders section:
This will select all orders in the same quantity group. For example, all orders with 2 units each will be selected.
With Bulkship Mode active, the next steps are the same. Select the box, set the weight, and print the labels. Note that the address section is removed when multiple orders are selected.
As the labels are generated, the status of each shipment is added:
Clicking on the Labels checkbox allows you to select all of the listed labels to void or reprint if needed.
If there’s an error, it will be shown here. A red X will be placed next to the order in the order list:
When you select the Complete button, the shipped orders will be removed and the next group of orders will be auto-selected.
