User Guide: ShipHero iOS Mobile App

This article covers the key features of the ShipHero iOS Mobile app.

Personal Settings

Tap your initials or profile picture to update your photo, switch users, or log out.

Dashboard

The dashboard shows your ready-to-ship orders and items available to pick. Below your name, use the dropdown to filter by order status, warehouse, and tag — you'll only see orders matching your current assignments.

To change the order status or warehouse, tap the current value. A menu will appear from the bottom — select your choice and tap Choose.

There are three options to process orders:

  • Single Item Batch: Pick several orders with one SKU into the same tote
  • Multi-Item Batch: Pick multiple orders at a time, each order into a different tote
  • Single Order: Pick and ship one order at a time

Single Item Batch

Use Single Item Batch to pick multiple single-SKU orders into one tote. To begin, scan or select an empty tote from the list.

A list of products will appear based on the Single Item Batch Pick Quantity set in My Account > Settings > App Settings. The lower left shows the number of orders in the batch; the lower right shows remaining items to pick.

Confirm the quantity as you pick each product. Tap Complete to finish the batch, or select a new tote to start another.

Multi-Item Batch

Use Multi-Item Batch to pick multiple orders with different quantities into unique totes. Items are sorted by order as you pick, so no sorting is needed at packing time.

Tap Multi-Item Batch, then enter the number of totes — this determines how many orders are included in the batch.

A product list appears with batch and remaining item counts in the lower corners. As you pick, select or scan a tote for each item. Items from the same order will be directed to the same tote.

Confirm each pick by scanning the barcode or tapping the screen.

To flag a problem, tap Report Issue in the upper right, add notes, and choose whether to place the order on hold. Orders placed on operator hold are removed from the batch.

6_IMG_0011.png

Tap Progress in the upper right to see batch totals, totes in use, and remaining items. Tap Complete to finish or Back to return to the picklist.

Once all items are picked, tap Complete. To start a new batch, enter the number of totes.

Set a default batch quantity in My Account > Settings > App Settings.

Single Order

To ship one order at a time, tap Single Order, then select the order from the list.

The list of products in the order will appear. Scan the product barcodes or select the products on screen, then tap Pack. Select your shipping box — the weight will auto-populate, or tap Get From Scale if using a scale.

Optionally tap Get Quote to compare carrier rates. Tap Print Packing Slip and Label, then Back to proceed to the next order.

By default, Print Packing Slip and Label is selected. Tap the arrow to print only the packing slip or only the label.

All Orders

Tap All Orders to view ready-to-ship orders. To ship Multi-Item Batches from the mobile app, scan the tote barcode from this screen to pull up the order for packing.

Single Item Batches cannot be shipped from the ShipHero Mobile app. Use the Packing App instead.

Products

Use this section to edit product details, manage inventory, update locations, and initiate transfers.

Search Products

Scan a product barcode or use the search bar to find products. Select the circular button next to the product image — new options will appear at the bottom to Edit or Print labels.

Tap Edit to update product details or inventory. Tap Print to print product or location barcodes.

Cycle Count

Cycle counting eliminates the need to shut down your warehouse for a full inventory recount. Configure your settings at Inventory > Cycle Count on the web dashboard. You'll be prompted to count a set number of products each week.

To exclude a product from cycle counting, enable Do Not Cycle Count on its product page. For bulk updates, use Inventory > Bulk Edit.

Search Locations

Scan or select a location to view its products. Select a product, enter the quantity to move, tap Move to, then scan or select the destination location.
