How to Upgrade from a Brand Plan to a 3PL Plan

Existing customers can upgrade from a Brand Account to a 3PL Account without manual data re-entry. This process allows for the migration of existing data into the 3PL structural hierarchy.

IMPORTANT

Before upgrading, customers must schedule a solutions call to review the specific capabilities and features of the 3PL plan.

The Process to Upgrade an Existing Brand Account

To ensure a seamless transition between account types, follow these sequential steps:

  1. Register for a New Account: The customer must sign up for a new account specifically under the 3PL plan.
  2. Create Client Accounts: Within the new 3PL account, create a Client Account for every distinct entity. For example, if there are five store connections managed as separate customers, create five corresponding Client Accounts.
  3. Maintain Store Connections: Do not disconnect the store platforms from the original Brand Account or attempt to connect them to the new 3PL account manually.
  4. Schedule Data Transfer: Contact a ShipHero Solutions Engineer to schedule the data migration. This should occur when the warehouse is not shipping or actively using the software.
