Customs Requirements for Products Shipping Internationally

International shipments require additional product data to generate customs declarations (commercial invoices). Missing or incorrect information will prevent label generation.

Every product in the order must have complete customs data to avoid label generation errors and carrier rejection.

Required Customs Fields

Make sure the following fields are completed for every SKU in the order:

Field NameDescription & Format
Customs DescriptionA clear, concise description of the product for customs officials.
Customs ValueThe declared monetary value per individual item.
Country of OriginThe ISO2 country code where the item was manufactured (e.g., US, CN).
WeightThe weight of the individual item measured in ounces.
HS/Tariff CodeA 6–10 digit harmonized code. Highly recommended for DDP shipments.
QuantityThe total number of items included in the shipment.
