The most common reason for Amazon inventory failing to update is a conflict where your Fulfillment by Merchant (FBM) SKU is identical to your Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) SKU. Use one of the following two options to resolve this conflict.
Option 1: Ensure FBM and FBA SKUs are Unique
To prevent ShipHero updates from inadvertently overriding your FBA product details, ensure that the FBM SKU is distinct from the FBA SKU.
- Modify the FBM product SKU in your store platform so it no longer matches the FBA SKU.
Option 2: Enable Remote Fulfillment in ShipHero
If you prefer to keep matching SKUs, you can adjust the synchronization behavior within the ShipHero dashboard.
- Navigate to My Account Stores.
- Locate your Amazon store and click the Settings button.
- Scroll to the Sync Settings ShipHero to Amazon section.
- Locate the Enrolled to remote fulfillment with FBA option and ensure it is selected.
IMPORTANT
By enabling the Enrolled to remote fulfillment with FBA option, you are authorizing ShipHero to override Amazon data. This setting ensures that merchant fulfillment stock (FBM) takes precedence over Amazon (FBA) stock levels.
