Product profiles in 3PL Billing are labels you assign to individual products. Once a product has a profile, you can configure billing fees — such as storage, receiving, and picking fees — to charge a different rate for that product type.
Before You Begin
You must be an Admin or have billing permissions to create and manage product profiles. Product profiles are created in 3PL Billing and then assigned to products in your inventory.

Where Product Profiles Are Used in 3PL Billing
When a product profile is assigned to a product, you can reference that profile when configuring fees in a billing profile. This lets you charge different rates based on product type — for example, a higher storage or receiving rate for fragile or temperature-controlled items.
| Fee Type | How Product Profiles Are Used |
|---|---|
| Receiving by Item | Charge a different intake rate for specific product types at the SKU level. |
| Storage by Product | Charge a different storage rate based on what type of product is being stored. |
| Picking Fee | Charge a higher pick rate for specific product types such as fragile or oversized items. |
| Return by Item | Charge a different returns processing rate based on product type. |
