A negative Available quantity can appear on a product in ShipHero, for example after you change Allocation Priority on many orders with Bulk Edit. Reprocess the product to update its inventory and move the negative quantity to Backorder.
If the negative quantity followed a priority change, see How to Use Allocation Priority on Orders for how Allocation Priority works.
Fix Negative Available Quantity on a Product in ShipHero
Reprocessing a product updates its Available and Backorder quantities when the page has not finished updating, such as after a bulk priority change.
- Go to Inventory > Products, then open the product with a negative Available quantity.
- In the Actions section, select Process Inventory.
- Wait a few seconds, then reload the page. If the page was slow to update, Available shows 0 and the negative quantity moves to Backorder.
If Available is still negative after you reload the page, more inventory is allocated than you have on hand. Contact ShipHero Support for help.
