Prerequisites for Setup
Before you begin the integration process in ShipHero, ensure the following steps are completed within your Webshipper environment:
- Your Webshipper account must be fully active.
- All individual Carrier Accounts must be configured and authenticated within Webshipper.
Connecting Webshipper to ShipHero
Follow these steps to link your Webshipper account to the ShipHero dashboard:
- Log into your ShipHero account at [app.shiphero.com](http://app.shiphero.com).
- Navigate to the Shipping menu and select the Carriers tab.
- Select Webshipper IO from the list of available carrier integrations.
Upon selection, a configuration screen will appear requesting your integration details. You will need to provide a valid API token generated from your Webshipper account.
Required API Token Settings
The stability of your shipping integration depends on the configuration of your Webshipper API token. To prevent communication errors between the systems, apply the following settings during token generation:
Token Expiration: The token must be set to Never Expire. If the token reaches an expiration date, ShipHero will be unable to generate labels or retrieve carrier rates.
Token Scopes: You must Select All available scopes. Granting full permissions ensures that ShipHero has the necessary access to pull shipping data and push tracking updates back to your carriers.
Failure to select all scopes or setting an expiration date on the token will lead to service interruptions and manual fulfillment delays.
