Before you can use any installed printers, you must set up your Workstation(s). Workstations are the computers physically connected to your printers (and scales) that allow your users to print shipping labels, invoices, and weights.

Installing Printers
ShipHero recommends using supported hardware to print your shipping labels for best results. ShipHero supports the following label printers:

Standard desktop printers
Dymo LabelWriter 4XL
This easy-to-use printer can print the shipping labels created when you ship your orders and connects to your computer via USB. You can buy the Dymo LabelWriter 4XL on Amazon.
ShipHero recommends the Dymo LabelWriter 4XL for printing shipping labels.
Tip: Labels are most commonly 4" x 6".
Installing the Printer on Mac OSX
You can contact Dymo Support directly if you want direct support from the manufacturer.
Before you can use the Dymo LabelWriter 4XL on your computer, you need to download and install the latest Dymo Label Software for Mac. To install the Dymo LabelWriter 4XL on your Mac:

In your web browser, navigate to Dymo's LabelWrite 4XL Official Page.

Click Support and click the Dymo Label Software link for Mac to download the driver.3. Once the download is complete, open the file and follow the instructions to install the software.

Plug the printer into the computer using the USB cable and connect its power adapter. Once you switch the printer on, the computer will detect and install the correct driver.
Configuring the Label Printer on Mac OSX
Once you've successfully installed your Dymo LabelWriter 4XL printer, you must set the default paper option to print labels correctly.

Using your web browser, go to http://localhost:631/printers/.

Click your label printer from the list of available printers.

Click the "Administration" drop-down and select "Set Default Options."

Select the corresponding Media Size based on the labels you will be printing.

Click "Set Default Options" to save changes.
Installing the Printer on Windows 10
You can contact Dymo Support directly if you want direct support from the manufacturer.
To install the Dymo printer on Windows 10, plug your printer into your computer via USB and connect the power adapter. After you turn on the printer, your computer will detect it automatically and download the correct drivers.
To confirm that your printer has been installed:

Open your computer's Control panel.

Click Hardware and Sound.

Click Devices.

In the Printers & Scanners section, could you verify that the Dymo LabelWriter 4XL appears in the list of printers?
Using a Standard Desktop Printer
You can also use a standard desktop printer to print shipping labels, though we don't recommend it as you will typically deal with label size issues.
To install your printer, follow the instructions that came along with it. If you need help installing your printer, contact the support channels listed in your printer's instructions.
