  • Canpar credentials: Have your username, password, and shipper number ready.
  • Live shipping: Use production credentials that Canpar has certified for live shipping.
  • ShipHero setup: Know which profile and warehouse should use this Canpar account.

See the Canpar overview for supported services and limits. Use the Canpar troubleshooting guide if rates, labels, manifests, or tracking do not work as expected.

Canpar Connection Reminders

  • Using Custom Profiles: Custom profiles let you connect the same carrier account more than once with different settings, such as Incoterms or third-party billing. Assign the order to the profile that has the Canpar connection. If the assigned profile does not have Canpar connected, ShipHero uses the carrier account connected to the warehouse’s default profile for the selected shipping method. See How to Use Warehouse Profiles.
  • Multi-Warehouse Accounts: Connect Canpar to each ShipHero warehouse that needs to create labels. Ask Canpar whether one shipper number supports multiple origins or whether each location needs a separate account.
  • Note for 3PLs: Connect Canpar to the ShipHero account that will use the carrier. When Use Customer’s Shipping Accounts is enabled, connect the carrier at the client account level. Otherwise, connect it at the 3PL level. See Managing 3PL Client Settings.
