How to Connect a Canpar Account
Assistance is required from ShipHero's support team to connect a Canpar account to ShipHero. Please reach out to Support@shiphero.com with the following information to get started:
- Canpar API username and password
- Canpar shipper number
- ShipHero warehouse and profile you want the account connected to.
When sharing digital credentials always practice safe password sharing practices; use secure, encrypted methods like an encrypted document or a password manager's built-in sharing portal.
Available Settings After Connecting
Canpar is currently being migrated to our new interface. We're working hard to bring them into the new UI soon for your convenience. In the meantime to edit this carrier, please follow these steps:
- Open our Legacy interface in a new tab or window.
- Locate the Canpar account and click the "Settings" button
- The only settings available for Canpar are the Cut-Off Time and Disable Quoting.

Click Update to save changes.
Things to Consider
- Restricted Items: Canpar has a list of items that cannot be shipped using their services. For the full, up-to-date list, please visit this page on their site.
- Dangerous Goods: Supported but must have the proper documentation affixed to the outside of the package.
- Multi-package Shipments: To take advantage of multi-package shipments via Canpar a setting must be enebaled by ShipHero's support team. Without this enabled, multi-package shipments are sent to Canpar as separate, individual label requests.
- Overweight Packages: Additional labels are generated for packages exceeding the maximum allowed weight which need to be affixed to the exterior of the shipping box.
