After all inventory is picked, the order moves to Packing status and the Packing Layout opens automatically. Freight wholesale orders are packed onto pallets in the Packing Layout.

Starting the Freight Wholesale Order Packing Layout
In the Freight order's Packing Layout, select Create a pallet. Choose the number and type of pallets. ShipHero assigns each pallet an ID and an LPN (license plate number). Print and apply the LPN labels to the pallets so you can track them. Choose Print simple LPN label for a standard label or Print detailed LPN label to include the LPN contents. How to Add Products to a Freight Pallet in the Packing Layout
After creating pallet containers, select the (+) icon to add products. Choose one of these options:

| One SKU per container | Nests a box onto the pallet. For setup steps, see Option 1: One SKU per container. |
| Multiple SKUs per container | Nests a box with multiple SKUs onto the pallet. For setup steps, see Option 2: Multiple SKUs in the same container. |
| In the current package | Packs products directly onto the pallet without a box. Choose the quantity of each SKU and select Save. Packing instructions appear after you save. |
To pack products directly onto a pallet, choose the quantity of each selected SKU. The Packing Layout shows how many units are available. Select Save to view the packing instructions and place the products correctly.

When all products are packed, the status pill changes to All items packed. Select Set as packing Complete to move the order to Packed status.

Editing the Packing Layout After a Freight Wholesale Order Is Packed
Select Edit Packing Layout to return the order to Packing status and enable packing operations again. Make your changes, then select Set as packing Complete when you are done.
Important
After changing the Packing Layout, reprint the Packing Slips and Bills of Lading.
