Saturday Delivery Availability

Saturday delivery lets a carrier deliver a shipment on Saturday. In ShipHero, availability depends on the carrier, shipping service, destination, and ship date. The Saturday Delivery flag requests the service where the carrier supports it, but the carrier can reject an unsupported service or destination.

Before You Begin

  • Delivery address: The Saturday Delivery flag cannot be used with a business address.
  • Carrier and service: Confirm that the selected carrier service and destination support Saturday delivery. The flag does not guarantee that the carrier will accept the request.

Saturday Delivery Flag in ShipHero

The Saturday Delivery flag asks a carrier to include Saturday delivery for the shipment. The flag is an order-level option, so it applies to the shipment rather than to an individual package.

The carrier decides whether it can deliver the shipment on Saturday. If the carrier does not support the selected service or destination, it can reject the request.

You can add the flag to an automation rule with the Set Saturday Delivery Flag action. For details, see How to Manage Shipping and Label Settings with Automation Rules.

Saturday Delivery Availability in ShipHero

Saturday delivery availability depends on the carrier, service, destination, and ship date. Use the carrier guidance below, and confirm eligibility for your shipment with the carrier.

Carrier Confirmed Saturday delivery behavior
UPS Saturday delivery is available with eligible UPS services. Confirm that the service and destination support it.
FedEx Use a day-definite service, such as FedEx Express, and confirm that Saturday delivery is available for the destination.
OSM Saturday delivery is not available through the OSM integration.
GOFO ShipHero cannot request Saturday delivery as a service option. GOFO may still deliver on Saturdays in some areas. Contact GOFO to confirm availability in your region.

Carrier service availability can vary by destination. If the service you plan to use is not listed, confirm Saturday delivery availability with the carrier before selecting the flag.
