Overview: Inventory Value Report

The Inventory Value Report provides an overview of inventory in a warehouse for a selected period of time. This report helps you understand the total value of products currently in stock or from a prior month’s snapshot.

Inventory snapshots are taken around midnight UTC on the last day of each month. For example, an inventory value report for August 1st would have been taken between midnight on July 31st and 4 AM on August 1st.

Common Use Cases

  • Get a real-time view of the current inventory value for financial reporting.
  • Pull a snapshot from the prior month for accounting and reconciliation purposes.
  • Filter by vendor to review how much value is tied up in specific suppliers.
  • Filter by warehouse if managing multiple facilities.

Things to Consider

  • The Total value only displays if all data is in a single currency. If multiple currencies exist, you must select a currency to see its total value.
  • SKUs/items that are in Non-sellable Bins are not included in the Inventory Value report as it is calculated using the On Hand quantity of the product.
  • ou cannot view the value of all inventory across all warehouses at once in this report; you must view the report for each warehouse individually.
