How to Use Shopify Managed Markets with ShipHero

Managed Markets manages the complexities of selling to other countries or regions on your behalf. This includes remitting tax to local authorities, accepting local payment methods, and collecting duties and import tax amongst other features.

IMPORTANT

To print Managed Markets labels with ShipHero, Global-e must be added to the merchant's ShipHero account as a shipping carrier. Here is more information about Shipping with Global-e in ShipHero.

How to Map Managed Markets Orders to Global-e Carriers

Create an automation rule.

  • Trigger: Select a trigger that to identify which orders are Global-e orders, like an Order Tag
  • Action: Set Shipping Method: Carrier: Global-e and Methods: Global-e.

Connecting Global-e to ShipHero

  1. Go to the Shipping > Carriers page.
  2. Click to Add a new Carrier and select Global-e from the dropdown.
  3. Select the Profile and Warehouse you are connecting the account to.
  4. Add the Merchant GUID code from the Markets admin (found in Settings > Markets > Preferences).
  5. Click Connect to save.
