The Allow Partial setting lets you pick, pack, and ship an order even when not all items are in stock. By default, orders are only available for picking once all inventory is fully allocated. Enabling Allow Partial lets you fulfill available items immediately and ship the rest once inventory arrives.
Items in non-pickable bins are not considered available and cannot be picked. All allocated items must be in pickable bins — items can be backordered, but not placed in non-pickable bins.
Example — Allow Partial ON, orders with 3 items:
Order #1: 1 item backordered, 2 items in pickable bins — Can pick the 2 items in pickable bins.
Order #2: 1 item backordered, 1 item in pickable bin, 1 item in non-pickable bin — Cannot pick any items. All allocated items must be in pickable bins.
