How to Reinstate a Canceled Order

There may be times you need to un-cancel an order. You can do this from the web dashboard depending on how the order was canceled.

Order Canceled Manually

When an order's fulfillment status is updated to "Canceled" (via the Actions > Cancel button or a manual status change), an Un-cancel option will become available. You can find this button directly on the Order Details page to quickly resume fulfillment.

Order Canceled via Automation Rules or Item Removal

If an order is canceled through an Automation Rule or by canceling every line item individually, the system recognizes that there are no items left to ship. As a result, the order status will update to Fulfilled status.

Because the system considers these orders "complete" (with zero items), the Un-cancel button will not be available.

How to restore these orders:

To bring the order back, simply use the Re-ship option. This will move the order back into Pending status, allowing you to process it as normal.
