How to Create a Shipping Container

Create new shipping container labels, or generate additional labels later in the day if you need more after the initial batch.

  1. Go to Shipping > Shipping Containers and select Create Shipping Containers.

Create Shipping Containers button on the Shipping Containers page
  2. Choose the Carrier and Shipping Methods for each container. Create multiple containers for the same carrier if you need to separate shipping methods (for example, UPS Ground and UPS Express), or consolidate all of a carrier's shipping methods into a single container. To create multiple containers for the same shipping method, increase the quantity in the quantity column.

  3. Select Create & print label. A PDF of the shipping container labels opens in a new window, and the containers are added to the Shipping Containers page. Print the labels and attach them to the gaylords you'll use for sorting packages.

If a shipping container label is lost or damaged, print another one from the Shipping Containers page. Select the container that needs the label reprinted.

Duplicating Shipping Containers

During times of high volume, you may need multiple shipping containers for a single carrier. You can also duplicate containers to save time setting up the next day. To duplicate a shipping container:

  1. Go to Shipping > Shipping Containers and select the shipping container(s) you need to duplicate.
  2. Select Duplicate and enter the number of additional containers needed.
