How to Sort and Close Shipping Containers Using ShipHero Mobile

Use the ShipHero Mobile app to scan packages into a shipping container on the warehouse floor, and to mark a shipping container as shipped once it's picked up.

Shipping containers must be created first from the desktop app. See How to Create and Duplicate Shipping Containers in ShipHero.

Mobile Package Sorting into Shipping Containers

Go to Shipping Containers > Package Sorting in the ShipHero mobile app. Then follow the prompts on the screen:

  1. Scan a package or enter the tracking number in manually.
  2. Scan the shipping container label with the specified carrier and shipping method combination.
  3. If the correct container is scanned, a confirmation screen appears and the package is assigned to the container. Place the package in the container.
  4. If the wrong container is scanned, ShipHero displays an error message. Re-scan the correct container.
