If there is a problem at a location when picking a wholesale order, the picker can mark the location as Hospital. This lets them flag the issue, continue picking another assignment, and allows a manager to resolve the problem asynchronously.
Before You Begin
- For the Picking and Packing flow: any partially picked items can be assigned to an LPN before flagging — the remaining quantity stays open on the job.
- For the Picking flow: any partially picked items will be transferred to staging — the remaining quantity stays open on the job.
- Once a location is flagged as Hospital, it must be cleared before any other picks can be completed from that location. See Using the Hospital Location Feature in the Mobile App for instructions on clearing the flag.
Flagging a Location as Hospital
From the Scan Location page, select the option to flag the location as Hospital. A confirmation screen appears before the flag is applied.

After Flagging: Manager Actions
After the location is flagged Hospital, the order status changes to Hospital in both the dashboard and mobile views. A manager needs to assign an alternate location — the order status then returns to Picking and the picker sees the new location in their mobile app.
