The Mobile Picking flow picks inventory and transfers it to the staging location without packing. This is ideal when you want to consolidate inventory at a packing station as a separate step. A barcode scanner is required to validate locations and items.
Before You Begin
- Generate LPNs in advance: Print any LPNs needed before starting from Inventory & Locations > LPNs.
- Inventory assignment: All picked inventory is automatically transferred to the staging location selected in the Picking Plan once picking is complete.

How to Pick a Wholesale Order Using the Mobile App
Navigate to Orders > Wholesale in the ShipHero Mobile App and select the order from the list.
Step 1. Select the order. You will see an order summary showing the order name, staging location, total units to pick, and all pick locations with required SKUs, UOM, and quantities.

Step 2. Scan or tap a location to start. If you tap a location from the list, you will be asked to scan it to confirm.

Step 3a. After scanning the location, the Scan Item page appears with required quantities. Scan items one by one, or tap the Picked number to manually enter the quantity. To pick all quantities at once, select Enter all required.

When all required units of a SKU are picked, the line auto-transfers to the staging location and is marked as picked. A confirmation screen Items moved to staging appears in the app.
Partial picks: Scan only the units that fit in your tote or cart. To move picked items to staging before finishing the full order, use Move picked to staging. This transfers the current quantity and returns you to the item list. Open Picking summary at any time to review what has been picked so far.

Step 4. When all items are picked, a confirmation screen appears and the order moves to Packing status. All picked inventory is available at the staging location ready for packing.
