3PL Billing Alpha turns warehouse activity into billable charges automatically. You define what you charge for once, assign those charges to each client, and ShipHero creates the charges as your team closes events in the warehouse. When your charges are ready, you export them into your accounting system for invoicing.
3PL Billing Alpha is built around three things that build on each other:
- Templates are billable events you set up one time. A template is not attached to any client until you assign it.
- Rates are templates that have been applied to a specific client and warehouse. Rates are what actually bill.
- Charges are the amounts ShipHero creates when a rate's conditions are met and an event closes.
3PL Billing Alpha is available to a limited group of accounts. Contact ShipHero Support to ask about joining the alpha group.
