There are multiple ways that you can reset your password in Shiphero. The best method is to use the "Forgot Password" link on the login page. However, not all users have accessible emails that are used. An Admin user or a user with "User Edit" access can manually assist an affected user as well.
Password Minimum Requirements (coming soon)
- A minimum of 15 characters
- At least 1 lowercase letter
- At least 1 uppercase letter
- At least 1 digit
- At least 1 special character
How to Update Your Password from the Login Page
- Click the "Forgot Password?" link on the sign-on screen.
- Enter your email address and hit Continue.
- An email will be sent to reset your password from "App Dot SSO no-reply@auth0user.net
- Type in and re-enter your new password and click "Reset Password"
- Your password has been updated!
How to Update a User's Password from Their User Settings Page
This method is only recommended if the user whose password is forgotten does not have access to the email used when creating their user account. A user with the permissions to make edits to users will need to assist the affected user.
- Go to the Users & Roles page.
- Open the User's Settings page for the user that needs to update their password.
- Have them type in their new password.
- Hit Save.
