ShipHero integrates with Loop Returns to automate how customer returns move between the two platforms. When a customer submits a return through Loop, the integration automatically creates a return merchandise authorization (RMA) in ShipHero. An RMA is the record ShipHero uses to track a returned item through receiving and processing. As the warehouse updates that RMA's status, the update flows back to Loop and tells Loop whether to process, flag, or ignore the return.

Loop builds and maintains this integration, the most current setup and configuration information lives in Loop's help center, not in ShipHero's. Here is the link to Loop's ShipHero Integration article.
How the Loop Returns Integration Works in ShipHero
The Loop Returns integration is a two-way connection between Loop and ShipHero. A customer submits a return in Loop, which creates an RMA in ShipHero automatically. When the warehouse receives the return and updates its status in ShipHero, that status change tells Loop what to do next.
| Trigger | What happens |
|---|---|
| Customer submits a return in Loop | ShipHero creates an RMA for the return automatically. |
| Warehouse marks the RMA Complete in ShipHero | Loop processes the return and actions any exchange, gift card, or refund, as long as the returned item count matches the expected count. |
| RMA is Incomplete or item count doesn't match | Loop flags the return for manual review instead of processing it automatically. |
